A carved wood of a image of the Guardian Deity of Children (Japanese name "Jizou") in Japan's traditional legend.

Materail: Jindai Keyaki
Jindai Keyaki is a Japanese name refer to the wood material which is found accidentally from under ground.
This kind of wood material is very precious and usually the tree has slept in the under ground over thousand years.
The tree lines changed into a deep color and the wood alos also has a very special feeling that you cannot find on other wood materials.

Name: Maki Yoshihiko (牧 芳彦)
Born: 1980, in Aichi-ken, Japan
Graduated: 1999, Kira high school, then studied under sculptor Yoshimoto.
Finished the apprenticeship in 2007, now working as an independent sculptor.
